The 2020 Bioneers Conference: How It Works
As we look forward to the 2020 Bioneers Conference this December, we’re excited to be able to provide engagement opportunities to match the needs of all participants. Considering joining us? Here’s what you can expect from the Bioneers Conference this year.

The Conference will take place on four days: December 5-6 and 12-13, beginning at 10:30 AM (PST). Each day of the Conference will be presented in two parts, detailed below.
Please note all Part 1 content will immediately be available for on-demand viewing through the end of the year. Your daily registration provides you access to the live and on-demand versions of the conference for that day. Tune it live and join the conversation or catch what you missed later on-demand.
Part 1: Plenary Session and Panels
Part 1 of the 2020 Bioneers Conference feature topic experts, discussing and presenting on world-changing solutions, combined with performances, arts interludes, films and other content. The format will be as follows:
- A richly produced and visually engaging 90 minute period of keynote presentations from Bioneers speakers, with arts and performance woven throughout.
- A 75 minute period of concurrent breakout sessions, featuring keynote speakers alongside visionary leaders from a vast range of fields. Attendees will have the ability to choose between a small handful of concurrent panels on varying topics. These sessions will be presented webinar style, with opportunities for Q & A and ongoing dialogue.
Part 2: Fully Interactive/Participatory Sessions (additional registration required)
Directly after Part 1, Part 2 of the 2020 Bioneers Conference will begin, and it’s all about connection. Participants will be able to sign up for one of a variety of 90 minute participatory sessions and workshops, hosted and moderated to support the community to connect directly with each other and learn together around timely and relevant topics of interest. Additional advance registration is required in order to manage the number of attendees in each session to allow for actual interaction and conversation to take place. Purchase
Conference attendees will have the option to select Main Conference passes for individual Conference dates. Once a Part 1 (Keynote and Panel) date ticket has been selected, attendees will have the option to add the Interactive Conference portion at a small additional cost.
Interactive Conference passes are only available to those who purchase Main Conference passes. Additionally, Interactive Conference passes are available in limited supply. Once Interactive Conference passes sell out, we will remove them from all purchase pages.
We have gone to great lengths to make this year’s Conference accessible. Passes are very affordable and available at multiple price points. Please keep in mind that planning and putting on the Bioneers Conference is an enormous undertaking, and your support is vital in making this possible.
Platforms
What does a digital Bioneers Conference look like? While there’s no replacement for being together in the flesh, we’re looking forward to the opportunities presented by convening virtually.
The Conference will be hosted on a fully featured digital platform. A week or two prior to the conference, registered attendees will receive credentials allowing them to create an account on the conference platform. Attendees will be able to interact with events and each other in real time. Interested in attending but can’t make the session you want? Come back during the month of the conference and watch any session again at your leisure. We’ll have a conference bookstore, opportunities for 1:1 networking sessions with additional ancillary events and activities still being added.
